Tom Loftis, a skeptical mayor in a small New England coastal town, wants to revive Widow's Bay and draw visitors back, but the locals see the town very differently: they believe it is cursed, and every attempt to ignore its history seems to reopen something old. As strange incidents build around him, Tom is caught between political ambition and a community that no longer trusts his rational explanations. Widow's Bay blends horror and dark comedy inside a small-town mystery where the question is not only whether the curse is real, but how long denial can hold the town together.
