Indian Movie1978Rating 9.5
📖 Story

In a coastal village in southern India, Parashuram lives under family and social pressure while searching for a greater meaning in his life. After encountering the mythical sage Kondura, he begins to believe that he has been granted a spiritual gift and a special role within the village. The Sage from the Sea turns that supposed blessing into a severe test of faith, ego, and human interpretation. As Parashuram’s influence grows, the film shows how belief, authority, and self-deception can quietly push an entire community toward tragedy.
