Panic Room (2002)

Meg Altman, a recently divorced woman, moves with her daughter Sarah into a spacious New York home, only to discover on their first night that the place is not as safe as it seemed. Three men break in looking for something hidden inside the panic room itself, forcing Meg and Sarah to take shelter behind its steel walls and surveillance system.
